Blinded by Robert's charms, Martha ignored crucial warning signs and isolated herself from the care and concerns of her dearest friends and family. Robbed of her self-esteem, beaten, humiliated, and made to feel co-dependent on her controlling abuser, she finally hit rock bottom. At her most vulnerable state of weakness and desperation, her turning point came when she returned to her foundation of faith, gathered her resources and fought with everything left within her for the remains of what mattered most. Sherell Rosegreen is an inspirational gospel singer who refused to allow domestic abuse to define her worth. A survivor and a fighter, she rose from what could have resulted in her own tragedy to becoming an advocate for women suffering from domestic violence.
