In this text the author makes the case for a new breed of leaders for Ghana- and for Africa. He argues that African leaders need to break from the status quo, come out of the "club," and identify with the needs of the people. The author alleges that the post-colonial leaders have not reformed the system because it enables them to get rich overnight. "The system is full of loopholes that enable politicians to loot all they want without accountability," the author laments and argues the need for new breed of leaders - leaders with progressive ideas and vision.
