Women in Overdrive

Women in Overdrive takes a comprehensive look at the busy culture we live in and examines the ways in which women are not encouraged to relax or take time for themselves. Nora Isaacs identifies ways in which women of all ages can avoid the most common roads to burnout and offers suggestions for creating balance and simplifying even the busiest set of circumstances.A Gen Xer, Isaacs took her inspiration from her mother. She looked around and saw that women, though aging well, were not slowing down one bit. She started talking to women her age, her mother's age, and women in between.
