The Introduction contains no life of Schiller (beyond a list of the chief dates), the main facts being accessible in any good encyclopedia. The Bibliography is not intended to be complete; but it is hoped that nothing of real value has been omitted, and, on the other hand, that nothing has been mentioned that is With out merit.
