Beskrivelse
Bernard is your average suburban kid who has run away to Boston to find himself. Leaving behind a drug dealing best friend, a one-night-stand, and his family, he hopes to find the secret to pure happiness. But with his depression getting worse, Bernard finds himself stumbling through a haze of drugs and different women, wondering if he'll ever change. Back home, Forester, the drug dealer, has to come to terms with the loss of his friend. Typically numbed by his constant drug use, feelings of loneliness begin to invade his thoughts. And to make things worse, his new girlfriend is forcing him to grow up and get a real job, causing him to question who he really is. With blood, booze, and blue-balls, this short novel depicts the time period between teenaged angst and early adulthood anxiety with the only thing that can accompany something so dismal... Laughter.
