Covering a variety of issues during the Gilded age, When Heroes Fall explores gang violence in Hell's Kitchen NYC, corruption of big business in Chicago, and family strength and unity in the mountains of Western North Carolina, all tying the characters together around the battlefields of France, and grisly murders from their past. As their pasts quickly catch up with them, will they have the courage to face the demons, or cower to them?
