Macau Streets

I was touched by the architectural style of Macau streets during the trip in Macau. Macau is very small. It occupies only 23 square kilometers including Taipa and Coloane. It is not eye-catching on China''s territory in area. And it even could not be marked on the world map. Although it is small, the street architectural style is unique and famous. The biggest feature of the architectural style is the combination of ancient and modern as well as Chinese and western. Macau is small; Chinese and minority nationalities live together. The Chinese and western cultures have surged in Macau for over 400 years. There are Jardim Lou Lim Iok of Chinese architectural style, Jardim de Luis de Camoes of Portuguese style as well as the Sun Yat Sen Memorial House integrating the Chines and western architectural art. They are filled with the atmosphere of history and literature. The cultural relics are colorful. Antiquity is one big feature of Macau streets. There are always more than ten architectures with antique flavor and value of cultural relics when you are wandering on the streets. The architectures are of Chinese style or western style. Comparatively speaking, the ancient ones of Chines style are the most characteristic. When I was walking on the Shiyue Chuwu Street, Guanqian Street, Caodui Street and Huochuantou Street, I looked at the old of Ming and Qing Dynasties with good preservation.
