It will be borne in mind, that in accordance with the rules of our Society, all contractions have been expanded in italics; all words and letters in red ink in the original appear in Clarendon type and all addit... ional matter not in the ms. (except the marginal verse numbers) is printed within square brackets The collations with the Vulgate have been added to save the reader the trouble of referring constantly to the Latin text.
The verse numbering of the Psalms refers to the Book of Com mon Prayer: those of the Lessons and Canticles follow the Vulgate.
