There are many prostate cancer books, but this one is unique. Men diagnosed with prostate cancer are often forced to select one of a variety of treatment choices or decide to have no treatment at all. Often these men cannot make a decision because of the difficulty in finding answers to their questions about how their life will change. In this book, attorney Eric E. Ludin describes his experiences upon learning of his diagnosis and how he made his decision to have a radical prostatectomy. Using humor and warmth, he describes with detail how removal of his prostate has affected his life both physically and emotionally. He addresses the emotion and fear that men often encounter during this difficult time and he gives men the knowledge and advice they need to make the right treatment decision for themselves. Proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to UF Health for research and education in urology at the University of Florida in Gainesville
