The rise of China presents a major challenge for US strategy in Southeast Asia, the US’s allies and key security partners in the region having increasingly to confront a strategic choice between Washington and Beijing. This book assesses how the strategic relationships between the USA and the countries of the region are changing in the light of China’s rise.
