Soul Mates Lost

Soul Mates Lost is a true story of love, for a loved one and a pet. A Dachshund/mix, his rescuers named WHIMSTER, was rescued from the animal shelter when he was about six months of age. As he grew up he became a care-giver dog with no training, as he assisted his disabled master who was caring for his dying wife, who was diagnosed with very advanced C.O. P. D. (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). When she died her husband lost their house and property, because of poor financial income. Both husband and wife lived only on their meager Social Security benefits. Whimster and his master, who had many disabilities, was forced to become homeless. For two and a half years Whimster and his Soulmate master lived in their van, until February of 2016, when the ultimate crisis occurred. Whimster ate something poisonous in a park one day, and just three days later he became very ill, and lost all of his body weight and died. His master was now alone in the homeless world, as he continued to suffer from the tremendous lost of his home and property, plus both of his soul mates, Betty Lorene, his wife, and now his pet soul mate Whimster. As he had experienced many hardships, and the loss of loved ones in his lifetime, which were accompanied by deep depression and anxiety; he now had to continue living after losing everything, without his medication, which was WHIMSTER, including the loss of both of his SOUL MATES. At the age of seventy five, he continues to write inspiring stories, as his coin-of-life or death continues to stand on edge, while he desperately looks for a way out of the homeless world in his older model van. Only time will tell.
