In WILL TO LIVE, Lieutenant Paul Schaefer survives a deadly German torpedo attack that kills more than 750 fellow soldiers and sailors while training in Southern England for the D-Day landings. Then he discovers that Marie Monin, the woman he had been falling in love with, is a German spy. Now, in SEARCHING FOR ANSWERS, Lieutenant Schaefer and the 4th US Infantry land on the beaches of Normandy, eager to take revenge on the Germans. While liberating Paris, members of Paul's platoon show him evidence that Marie may be working and hiding nearby. The horror of Marie's deception and an obsession to bring her to justice drive Paul across the battlefields of France, Belgium and into the heart of Germany. Marie Monin is searching as well. After escaping from Paris, she returns to Frankfurt, her childhood home. There she uncovers evidence that her father's death was not accidental. It was, in fact, orchestrated by Nazi agents. SEARCHING FOR ANSWERS continues where WILL TO LIVE left off, with Paul Schaefer and Marie Monin fighting their enemies on and off the battlefields of Europe.
