Read Now

The purpose of Read Now is to provide beginning ESL students at the adult and young adult levels with reading practice using short compositions. This text gives students the opportunity to read, and also provides a number of reading comprehension exercises for continual practice. Read Now: * Encourages students to become independent readers* Chapters include a short composition written in a descriptive mode, followed by exercises to select the main idea and identify the correct part of speech* Includes a reading journal that gives students the opportunity to begin building their own vocabulary list of words
