Photoshop for Photographers

Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom are two of the most widely used photo editing software in the world. They are used by a wide variety of people including photographers, both professional and amateur, graphic designers and even 3D artists. Adobe Photoshop in particular, has perhaps the most applications and is the most versatile photo processing and manipulation software. This book will introduce to you some of the fundamentals of Adobe Photoshop, as well as teach you the basic and intermediate level editing techniques. You will learn how to use Photoshop to edit your photos in specific ways, impose several different effects, and retouch your image like a professional. You will also learn how to edit and process Raw image files on Photoshop, as well as the basics of the Raw format. It is important to note that while this book gives tutorials on how to implement specific effects and filters, depending on the software version you are using, some of the options mentioned and discussed in this book may not be present. In such a case, it is advised to install a more recent version of Photoshop that has all of the effects and options available as standard.
