The result was "Notes on Jungle Warfare," a sixty page manual printed for the U.S. military in December of 1942. This important document marks a cornerstone In the development of the modern U.S. military and is an important historical record of the early days of the Pacific Campaign. To the original document has been added close to 200 photos and illustrations to highlight the weapons discussed, many of the commanders involved and the environment of Guadalcanal.Japanese Methods of Interrogating Prisoners of War is a post-war study compiled by the Allied Translator and Interpreter Service (ATIS). This report draws from interviews of former Allied POW's and captured Japanese documents and details the various methods used by the Japanese military to interrogate their prisoners of war. Some of those methods were quite cruel.
