Excerpt from Missionary Hymns: A Choice Selection; Designed to Aid the General Cause of Missions

Finally, the work of preparation has been its own reward for, in doing it, the compiler has enjoyed much consolation, and realized a spiritual advancement in studying the glorious subject of the world's evangeliza tion.
With the prayer that it may, in some measure, answer its design, the work is submitted to the friends of Missions.
