This title on German architects and architecture in Germany is one of a kind and a premiere in the publishing house Braun. The new Made in... Series presents the best that the current architectural sector has to offer, the focus is on architecture in and originating from one specific country. A high-level international jury chooses the most outstanding buildings, interior designs and landscape architecture. These are presented with feuilleton-like texts and illustrations in a creative layout. Because Made in Germany is not bound by any institutional considerations, also the unexpected is to be expected! Furthermore, the "Architects of the Year" are highlighted in the book; short interviews, entertaining essays, portraits of architects, as well as a special feature on concrete as the "Construction Material of the Year" round off the concept.
