Harold Gatewood, still trying to make a comeback to professional baseball, and reeling from the death of his beautiful fianc Lore Lehoi, returns to Spain, where he survived previous vicious murder attempts on his life by a serial killer, and an assassination mission by the Basque AIO terrorist group. After facing another assassination attempt by the AIO in Spain, Gatewood heads to Cuba to scout the Universal Baseball Games for major league baseball. His time in Cuba is interrupted by murder attempts on his life, dealings with AIO terrorists, hired contract killers, a zealous American billionaire's plan to extract revenge from the Cuba for the prior assassination of a popular American president, plots to overthrow the Cuban government, and potential international incidents which could impact peace in the Northern Hemisphere.
