Kaya

KAYA is the story of the first female-only village in England. Situated in Pawts (where Portsmouth is now situated on the south coast) the girls are vulnerable to attack. After her family, friends and neighbours are all-but wiped out by avaricious villagers crossing the water (unheard of) from Haylee (Hayling Island), Kaya runs into the forest. Feminism had to start somewhere - this is it - here - in the face of murderous jealousy; rape; intimidation - the vile predatory nature of men is faced down with bloody and horrific consequence.
