On the 4th of March the establishment was altered to 1112, which included two lieutenant colonels The first lieutenant-colonel com mandant of the new regiment was Duncan Campbell, of Lochnell, an Argyllshire man, who had served as captain in the Foot Guards. He assumed command at Stirling on the 15th of April, 1794. The following is the list of officers taken from the Army List of the lst of January.
