The order of the universe is seemingly reversed, but then everything happens as it should, and the kiss somehow remains a part of it all. That kiss led to her birth, to her immortal heart beating within her mortal body. Her love is here, in and out of time. The mirrors in her eyes slowly begin to dissolve and the images continue to reveal a world divided by love and war. One eye reveals love while the other reveals hate. But then the mirrors seem to converge. She lies frozen, a statue, her heart longing to break free. Her body is trapped in time, her heart on the verge of beautiful release, breaking free. In a single breathless moment, her love yearns for release and finds it. Time, the frame of her shining marble physique, breaks and dissolves all around her heart, which gives flesh to her love, a skin that imbibes the fragrance of her existence. Her flesh regains the color of life and passion, and her eyes shine like the crystalline sky. Her hair radiates like the self-sustained ball of fire of the sun, the center of her beauty's universe, which perpetuates itself along with the emotions orbiting around it. In the quiet passion of the statue's muddy decay, the human form breathes, loudly declaring its existence by inhaling the same beauty it projects outward, and breathes again, as if beauty were a form of inhaling the air of life. The marble sheet that covered her body fades away like shadows that are chased by sunlight. Her breath is the breath of beauty, releasing her senses, which permeate the space beyond the boundary of everything she thought she knew. Her breath carries itself outward into space and time, her desire to let her love live beyond the confines of this moment, a moment that is as mortal as the heart she never had but has always desired. Her blonde hair shimmers and her skin swallows the brightness that she exudes. Her heart makes her see images. She feels the breath rise in her throat again, and her desire to release love from time comes as well. She is no longer inanimate, but is as fully alive as the love that has transcended time. A ray of light, the breaking waves, the reflection of a beautiful woman's face, and a man and woman sharing an embrace: these are the images that flash across Venus's mind, images that becomes a cosmic and earthly emotion, a love unalterable and inalienable. This love then becomes one with the love she has not yet experienced, the love that liberates itself from the constraints of time and space. The ray of light becomes one with the glow of the waves, which then seem to illuminate the beautiful woman's face and allowing it to become part of history. Ilion's reflection survives.
