This is a monograph on the subject of the theory of Stripping Electronanalytical Methods (SEAM) and its application to environmental monitoring. The simplest explanation of this phenomena is to describe it as the determination of compounds that are absorbed strongly to the electrode surface at one potential and then are stripped off at a different potential. This method is used most often for organic and biological molecules, and is useful in a number of applied areas of research, notably environmental monitoring, pharmaceutical and clinical/biochemical analysis and powder materials The book considers all variants of stripping methods as a group of techniques used to study and analyze both solutions and solids. New qualitative standards attained by recently-used electroanalytical stripping methods are also reflected.
