»Legality and Criminal Politics of Electronic Monitoring of Sex Offenders in Germany. A Comparison with the Legal Situation in the USA and South Korea«The thesis deals with the question of how electronic monitoring is compatible with fundamental rights and which criminal policy design is appropriate in a comparative legal manner. With attention to the principle of proportionality and the special sacrifice theory, the work is proposed to minimize the burden on the monitoring and to regain as complete freedom as possible in everyday life without electronic monitoring through state aid for social reintegration.
