Beskrivelse
The author examines the liability of credit card companies for copyright infringements by a third person and hereby explores terra incognita in German Copyright Law. In the course of the work the concept of liability in German Copyright Law is critically scrutinized and various contradictions in the jurisdiction of the German Federal Supreme Court are pointed out. The author also examines possible claims of information against credit card companies taking into consideration the Coty Germany judgment of the CJEU. A practice-oriented work, which thoroughly analyses the liability of indirect participants in copyright infringements.
