Crow Island

Casylee Kayak is known by her family name. She comes from big money and lives a big life. In college, she dates the big star.

Casylee also has big insecurities.

It doesn't matter how beautiful she is, or how rich, or smart, there has been a persistent nagging since she was child. Then she loses her best friend. The circumstances leave her living in a state of derealization, with deep buried secrets, and the need to numb.

So she runs.

She moves to The Island, her former summer playground, but it doesn't feel the same. There's something different now.

No, everything is different now.

The Island feels-Alive. Sinister.

Is it because she's older? Or because her Grandpappy is gone? Or is it because The Island knows her secret? She tries hard to adjust to small-town living, and even though she makes new friends and deals with her addiction, nothing will save her from the demons that roam her mind.

Or the spirits that roam the woods.
