County and City Extra, Special Historical Edition brings together data from the earliest days of our nation through 2010. With increased life expectancy and lower birth rates, the proportion had grown to 13 percent by 2010.*The 1900 census showed that Wyoming, Montana, and Nevada had 150 men for every 100 women.
