Some leaves stained, but a very fine, large copy of this most important history of Florence, of which only two editions were printed in the i5th century. The present copy is especially remarkable for the fine and most carefully executed large capital on fol. 2 with its marginal elongation: a splendid specimen of early book decoration. The book begins with a Preface of the translator, Donato Acciaioli; the next two pages are devoted to the introduction by L. Aretino.
