The outcome of the relay race did not decide the winner of the meet, but had Capt. Hull, the last of the Brown quar tette, captured the event Dartmouth would have only collected 33% points to 28% for Brown. The margin of ... one foot in this final contest of the meet made a difference of 16 points and Dartmouth had no such walkaway as it anticipated before the meet.
