It's not as much fun as it sounds..." On March 30, 1982 Wayne Wood heard medics declare him dead on a wind-swept drop zone at Fort Irwin California. A year and a half later he participated in the invasion of Grenada. This is the story of what led him to that Drop Zone and how he defied the odds to be declared a fully fit paratrooper.
