A fictional account, based on newspaper and magazine accounts of the time of the events surrounding the last thing Ernest Hemingway ever wrote, a letter to an ill 9-year-old boy who idolized the iconic writer. The friendship endured during the last two or more years of Hemingway's life and the last eight or ten years of the boy's. Their graves are a few feet away from each other in Ketchum cemetery.
