After three years away, Aubrey returns home to her mother's bed & breakfast in the small town of Willow Cove, Georgia. Having just left a cheating husband, she was ready to get on with the rest of her life.

Annoyance with the resident handyman, Gavin, is her biggest stressor at the otherwise relaxing inn. That is until two skeletons are discovered buried beneath the rose bushes on the property.

When the local police chief shows little interest in solving the murders, Aubrey takes matters into her own hands. Much to her dismay, Gavin becomes an asset in the investigation and, odder yet, a friend.

Aubrey and Gavin must work together to discover this town's dark secrets. They must be careful because the closer they get to cracking the case, the closer they get to a desperate killer.
