Background noise, the amount of time a parent spends talking to the child, and the way in which a parent speaks to a child are the basis of the "Baby Talk" programme, which, over the last seven years, had results beyond her wildest dreams. Children who had gone through the programme accelerated their language and comprehension skills at least a year beyond their age, and because the "Baby Talk" programme doesn't just affect a child's verbal abilities, participation also resulted in a dramatic increase in their IQ.
